Lindsay Lohan as Jesus?

Did you see the Lindsay Lohan photo shoot that made its way to the cover of Purple Fashion magazine? She is dressed in all white, with a crown of thorns and outstretched arms. Many are crying it's offensive, but I just don't get it. Don't get me wrong, I am not a fan of the shoot per se. But offended? Why? We are all way too easily offended most of the time.
