National Day of Prayer Unconstitutional

Friday, April 16, 2010

A federal judge this week decided that the National Day of Prayer is unconstitutional. Now I am not the biggest fan of the National Day of Prayer. I think it actually waters down what prayer should be about. But at the same time, what's the harm? Is it really unconstitutional? How does this fit in with the idea that Congress opens their sessions with prayer?
