National Day Of Prayer Is A Joke

I don't get the fascination with the National Day of Prayer. It doesn't seem to accomplish anything. Don't get me wrong, I am all for praying for the country. But as a Christian, I pray for the country on a daily basis. The idea of "inter-faith" day of prayer, or a federally sponsored day of prayer turns prayer into a joke.
