Abby Sunderland is the young woman from Southern California attempting to sail around the world solo and non-stop. Her dreams of non-stop came to an end when she had to stop in Cape Town to fix her auto-pilot. And now it looks like her dream is over - and quite possibly her life. Her emergency beacon went off today and nobody has been able to reach her. We aren't sure what exactly happened or if she is alive but many are questioning her trip in the first place. I still say - even as hard as it is to say no knowing the state of her life - that this was a good endeavor to take.
