Unemployment Extension Denied

Friday, July 2, 2010

There are many on Capital Hill claiming that we need to extend unemployment benefits beyond its current 99-week limit. Come on? Seriously? Almost two years of unemployment benefits. No. Someone needs to put a foot down and say hey, it's been two years, you should have been able to find a job by now. Move if you have to. Take a lesser job if you have to. I'd like to think I am a compassionate man, but two years is just too much - especially with money we don't have.
