Many don't know their history. But historically speaking, it was common practice for Islam to conquer lands, tear down previous holy sites, and erect their own on those very own sites. Look it up. The suspected place of Jesus' last meal: turned into a mosque. The place of Christ's Crucifixion a mosque. Even the great Mosque of Cordoba in Spain was first a church. And now history is repeating itself with the proposed 9/11 Mosque in New York City.
