I Want To Die

A man in White, Georgia is trying to become a live organ donor. He has been diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's Disease and instead of take the slow deterioration towards death, he wants to donate his organs while they are still healthy - which will ultimately kill him. While I commend the selfless act, it is hard for me to condone the action as it sets a very dangerous precedent. Frankly, I still stand by the statement that life is not ours to take - even if it is our own.
