Thanks to a conservative blogger, the mainstream media and even the Administration recently opened fire on Shirley Sherrod for comments that weren't just taken out of context, but actually were some of the most positive messages about race I have heard in a long time. And while everyone is eating crow now, it just goes to show that our culture is caught up too much in being first and not enough on being right.
