TN Mosque Controversy

We all know I was outraged over the NYC Mosque build plans that would put a mosque near the WTC site. But here's going to a be a shocker for you: as for the new mosque controversy - the one in Middle TN - I think they should have every right to build that mosque. I have been through more zoning commission meetings for the purpose of building or adding on to churches than I ever wanted to, but the process is horrendous. And quite frankly, 99% of the time the government should have no authority in saying when and where a religious organization can build a building for the purpose of their mission.
