My Biggest Mistake

Miss Philippines got reamed after answering the question "What was your biggest mistake" from one of the Baldwin brothers with the answer "I haven't made any major mistake." The rush to judgement may be a bit hasty given the fact very few of us know her story nor is English her first language. However, it got me thinking about big mistakes. What was yours? How did you recover? Did you recover?
