Quran Burning Is Cancelled...Maybe

Terry Jones announced today that the Quran burning scheduled for Saturday was cancelled because they worked out an agreement that the NYC Mosque project would be moved in exchange for the burning event to be cancelled. But the NYC people are saying their is no such agreement. What a mess. Plus Obama has now weighed in on it. Can this get any weirder?

Love you, love the show, but come on about the legalizing pot thing. You are completely off your rocker. How do you think most of these drug users / sellers get started? They don’t go right from just sitting around bored one day and decide to shoot heroine. I have seen pot prevent a lot of people from reaching their full potential, and worse in other cases. Try going to party with your middle age high school friends (with kids present) just to find out these burn-outs are still going out behind the shed to “burn one.” How pathetic! And how about violent crime in general? Do a little research. Watch the news. What is the underlying common denominator? Drugs my man. Ok, you get my point. I’ll stop. Well, one more thing while I am at it: Quit being so damn arrogant and sure of yourself. It’s a huge turn off. Only God truly knows what is right and what is wrong. All you and me can do is give our best guess. Try presenting it in that manner. I have listened to your show semi-regularly for about 3 years now. I generally agree with about 90% of what you say and respect the other 10%. Tonight is the first night that I just simply turned it off. I couldn’t bare another word.
