$400,000 And Struggling?

A Law Professor in Chicago got into some heat when trying to explain why the tax cuts were not a wise idea by posting his tax data and saying his family is struggling to get by. Problem was, the dude made $400,000 a year (although some reports are saying $260,000). Anyways. Either way. That salary makes you one of the wealthiest people in this country. How is it that you can't live on $400k a year?
