Prenups are on the rise. Many say it is because people are getting married later, so they have more assets. Many say it is because more and more families are blended, creating unique circumstances in the vent of a split. Many say it is the recessions fault because money is on the brain. But even more surprising, women are increasingly the ones asking for them. This trend is a bad one, and only goes to show we don't take marriage very serious anymore.
