You Can't Go To Our Best Schools

Thursday, October 21, 2010

The Georgia Board of Regents decided that illegal immigrants can't go to the five best schools in Georgia. They can go to the lesser schools, but of course, won't get in state tuition. There aren't many times, but this is one of them where I am embarrassed to be a Georgian. If they can get into the schools based on grades and performance, I say let them go - and let them have in state tuition.

Gravatar.com I wonder why ILLEGAL immigrants are even getting their elementary or high school education in the US. If being in this country illegally is such a big deal, how did this kid spend so long in our public school system. My kid couldn't go to school without a birth certificate!!!
