Is Divorce Good For Kids?

I recently came across an op-ed piece explaining that divorce is actually good for kids. Give me a break. Study after study shows that kids from divorced homes are more likely to divorce themselves. Children need a stable home environment and divorce rarely provides that more than a nuclear family.

Some people don't need to stay together. If it's a volitile relationship it is better for the whole family to get away from the violence. If the children are loved and feel secure with the parent that has costody of them it can help the children grow and have confidence in themselves. But overall it is better for children to be brought up in a loving Christian home enviroment. To bad that people get married for all the wrong reasons and are not strong enough to make it through the tough times.
