Something most don't think about when going through divorce is who's going to take care of me when I am old. That usually falls on the kids - only now they are old and have their own kids to take care. So once again, the baby boomer generation hasn't just stolen their childhood from their kids by their selfishness and divorce, but they are taking away their adulthood too.
