Gates Dictates Troop Surge In Afghanistan

Defense Secretary Robert Gates is ordering a troop surge to Afghanistan of 1,400 soldiers. I have said it before, I will say it again: we need to get out of Afghanistan. Iraq was a justifiable war. Afghanistan is not. And a troop surge is simply an attempt at grasping at straws to say we did everything we could before the July deadline. Just bring them home now.
