Oprah's Second Chance

Oprah shared recently that losing her unborn child when she was 14 was her second chance and doesn't regret it for a second. And while I am a person who is always for second chance (*cough* Michael Vick shows), and I definitley have a compassionate understanding of what it would be like for a 14-year old black girl in the south years ago to be pregnant, I have to admit hearing her say losing her unborn child was her second chance was a bit hard to swallow.
