Reagan on Rushmore?

Alan, I listened with interest to your show on Reagan tonight. I thought it was very interesting. I do not think President Reagan belongs on Mt Rushmore, however I was a little dismayed at some of the dialog. Reagan was many things to many people but the main thing I think was his unbridled optimism for America, he brought us hope, and inspired us to be better than we were. He made us proud to be Americans again. Yes there were drawbacks to his presidency but there were drawbacks certainly to all the men on Mt Rushmore as well. I am 60 years old and when I think about all the Presidents I have lived under, He was certainly the very best of the lot and that includes Obama. America is a better place because of him, I still love to listen to his speeches and humor, does he deserve to be on Rushmore? of course not, maybe he should be honored on one our Monetary bills, I am not sure. I was over seas assigned in Taiwan and Japan during those years and many people complimented me on Reagan's leadership. He will always to me be a great and inspiring leader, he did not need to bow down to kings and despots like Obama, thank God for his time and leadership.
