The Recession Is Over Because Divorces Are Up

Studies are showing that divorces are up for the first time since the start of the recession. Many are saying this is the "final indication" that the recession is over. Credit markets are unfrozen. People have more money. They feel more independent. So they are finally able to drop that old ball and chain that has been dragging them down along with the economy. But I think that is sad. Instead of using an event like the recession to improve their marriage, they just hung on as long as they could.
