Booing An Iraq Vet at Columbia

Monday, February 21, 2011

An Iraq Veteran was booed and laughed at when trying to make a speech in support of having the ROTC on the campus of Columbia - something they have long not had. The booing students are just a reflection of the attitude of the faculty of that campus. Columbia University lucky I am not the President, because I'd make this real simple for them. You allow the ROTC on campus, or you get absolutely no federal aid whatsoever.

Gravatar.com When you invade another country ,the people of that country have the right to fight back. The real "terrorists" are the Americans such as this guy who volunteered to go kill people who had nothing to do with Alquada. He was perfectly willing to allow himself to be manipulated by his government and media and to lump all Arabs as being responsible for 9-11..He is a bigot and a terrorist and would not be a cripple today, had he not acted on his bigotry by volunteering to "turn Iraq into a parking lot' which was his fantasy.

Gravatar.com It's people like you rose that should be hung for suggesting such BS. The people of Iraq needed to be liberated from Saddam, regardless of what America's reasons for going there. Your an absolute idiot and one day, your ignorance will turn on you and you'll see just how stupid you are.

Gravatar.com When your calling card is" shock and awe" then you have no business saying you "liberated' the people of Iraq by blowing the arms and legs off of men ,women and children. They did not ask to be "llberated' and as Egypt shows, if people want to be liberated from a tyrant they have the wherewithal to attempt it themselves."Liberation' on the part of Americans is another word for mass torture and murder. You believe if you use the word "liberation" in a sentence you have the right to drop bombs on people. They believe if you drop bombs and invade their country, they have the right to fight back.it looks to me like all the dead and injured Americans died in vain as the uphevals of the people in the mid east shows.Iraq would have followed Egypt in overthrowing its American becked tyant and the reality is as I'm sure you know ,Americans voluntered to join the military after nine eleven just to go kill Arabs out of hatred not out of a desire toi"liberate' them. The fact that we propped up these regimes [including iraq when it fought against iran] shows we only care about our interests and not about the human rights of Arabs. No wonder they hate us.
