Peter King's Muslims In America Hearing

Tuesday, March 8, 2011

Rep. Peter King - chair of the Homeland Security Committee - is calling for a hearing regarding Muslims in America in relation to terror. His stance is that Muslims in America, especially those in leadership position in Mosques, are not cooperating very much with terror investigations and it is time to have an honest conversation as to why that is and how to make it stop. And while many feel this is wrong, I have to say: it is about time!

Gravatar.com It's the right of free human beings to NOT cooperate with an investigation by the F.B.I. or any other government body.To single out Muslims for not cooperating is a bullying tactic and exposes the bigotry of those who do it.If there is evidence of people vilolating laws then prosecute but you know what?-people have the right to believe whatever they want and to preach whatever they want.Whether it's support and solidaity for Hamas [as long as they don't break the law and send them money] or a desire to bring sharia law to America or even to believe that the 9-11 attacks was blow back for our unjust policies in the Mid East going back fifty years and yes, rvrn that it felt good to see America finally pay a price for those unjust policies - that is what freedom of expression looks like.If you want to be like the Europeans who you are so quick to deride, then pass laws against political and religious freedom.Put your money where your mouth is but until then Muslims should take America at it's word, namely that we're free to believe and preach whatever we want and we don't have to justify or explain our beliefs to anybody. If you want to learn about Islam read a book or two or go to a Muslim country as a civvilian As long as you don't pass laws against Muslims they are right to not jump through your hoops by saying what you want them to say.The best thing they should do is to keep silent and watch the anti -Muslim bigots rant againt Muslims exposing THEIR unamericanisness and see if they can get laws passed against freedom of relgion or against political expression.Until then you bigots are just paper tigers with microphones in the media and the halls of congress and if you succeed copying the Europeans in passing laws against Muslims then so much for American "Exceptionalism," you are just like the people you deride .And by the way, the real elephant in the room at those hearings was American foreign poilcy. The"terrorists" acts perpertrated by Muslims were political not religious. Nobody ever killed an American simply because they wern't Muslims. The "terrorist "acts are in retaliation for our policies. The time square bomber was retaliating for our military strikes in Pakistan,Fort Hood was retaliation for our invasion of iraq and Afghanistan [which Hasan spoke out against and was punished for by being ordered to go there] ,Al Quada launched attacks because of our polcies of vetoing every resolution that would benifit Palestinians as well as our having bases in Saudi Arabia as well as our propping up regimes that routinrly tortured and killed anyone who oppossed them.Ideally a Muslim would testify to that fact before commissioner King's hearings. That narrative-the true narrative that gets to the heart of "terrorism" is off the table in America. That the false narrative given is the irrational absurd "Islamic extremism"- [they hate us because we're not Muslims], expresses America's false consciousness vis a vis itself and the Middle East. That we're willing to prrofess to believe such absurditires is out of hatred of Arabs.Since the Arab -Israeli conflicts Arabs have been demonized so we have no problem expressing blatently irrational motives to them or ignoring the fact that our policies there brought on acts of "terrorism".You have no qualms about saying anything untrue to or about people you have demonized.America's own inauthenticy breeds "terrorism" not the religion of Islam.

Gravatar.com Expecting them to cooperate with our investigations and denounce "terrorism"' is a smoke screen to make them express support for our policies.Until you criminalize silence, they should refuse to comply with our demands that they"cooperate" with investigations.Call them every name in the book, this is still a free country. The Muslims should create a wall of silence and not cooperate with any authorities. When faced with the malice of Peter King type hypocrites they should go by the letter of the law. They have nothing to say, nothing to explain and nothing to apologize for and nothing and no one to denounce. Let the Peter King type American hypocrites jump through the hoops of trying to get laws passed against Muslims.Until such laws are passed,Muslims should simply go about their business in their mosques and elsewhere. The Muslims know full well that anyone who lays a hand on them will be hit with a hate crime. The reality is these bigots who want to make Muslims jump through hoops are simply angry at the fact that the days when only American interests had to be taken into account in our dealings abroad because we could act with impunity in the world are over. "Terrorist " acts against Americans show that there is a price to be paid for our actions and policies abroad.Other people have interests too. This is at the heart of the bigotry against Muslims. They upset the order of things. The unjust order of things.Concern with what Muslims truly believe is a smoke screen to not deal with the fact that in the twenty first century there are repurcussions to our unjust policies abroad. How dare that be the case!

Gravatar.com Wake up America!
We already have our own laws, we do not want Syraiah law!
What you call radical Islam is actually true Islam. The rest are either ignorant of thier own religion/code or are decietfully lying to your face.
I protest any true islamic "religious" foundations or Islamic "states" operating in my country. If you wish to live in America you will adibe by our laws, we will not abide by yours. If you want to live under Syraiah law then go live in an Islamic country under those laws.
Islam is not, I repeat it is NOT a peacfull "religion", at it's core it is a geopolitical system of government first and a personal religion second. The Islamist wants to rule all the world in the name of thier own idea of God and if you don't agree, the are compelled by thier very beliefs to kill you.
Do not be fooled, a true islamist will pretend to be peaceful when they don't have the upper hand, but once they have the majority you will see the true face of terror. That is the plan, they are working on it, watch.
Get more information at walidshoebat.com - you can make your own mind up looking at the facts and history. What's happening now in the uprisings for so called "democracy" is being perpetrated by the Muslim Brotherhood, if you don't mind trading in your freedom for an Islamic overlord then continue to believe that Islam is peace and "just a religion". It is a system completely opposed to everything the west live, believes, fights and dies for. Best of luck.
