Libya = Iraq And That's A Good Thing

Monday, March 21, 2011

Many are trying to associate Libya to Iraq as if that is a bad thing. And while those who support the Libya actions quickly try to defend our involvement saying it is nothing like Iraq. I have to say, no it is like Iraq, and frankly, that's a good. And the reason the international community turns to us to defend those needing defense is because of our track record in places like Iraq.

Gravatar.com The Libyans asked for intervention from the Intenational community.Unlike Iraq where the only people "asking" for American intervention were anti-Arab pro Zionist neo con lackeys like Mr.Chalabi who hadn't been in Iraq for over 30 years and the then New York Times reporter Judith Miller planting false stories in the press about WMD's and the imminent threat Iraq posed .[ She has alot of blood on her hands and if there were any justice in the world she would be tried for crimes against the peace for her war mongering fabrication;now she 's another pretty face on Fox.Such are the workings of "the banality of evil'.] Our intervention is justified as part of an international effort to defend the defenseless people who are rising up aqainst their dictator. But it's not about us; the Libyans have not been inspired to rise up against their oppressive dictator because we killed and tortured hundreds of thousands of Iraquis.. What is happening in Libya and elsewhere in the Arab world is happening in spite of us not because of us.You're twisting reality by suggesting otherwise. The reality in Libya goes on regardless of how you spin it to suggest that the killing and torturing hundreds of thousands of Iraquis was a good thing.Keep deluding youself if it makes you feel good .I guess you think if you repeat a lie often enough it becomes true [like the rewiting of history of Israel where Palestinians towns had their Arabic language names and signs replaced with Hebrew names and signs and the Zionists told the world they were there all along.] If anything the uprisings in Libya and elsewhere suggest all those Americans died in vain because the people of Iraq themselves would have risen up as we're witnessing in Libya and elsewhere today. The Iraqis were not waving American flags when we "Shocked and Awed" them but I noticed some Libyans were waving French flags in gratitude that their cries for help were heeded by the international community.

Gravatar.com Amazing. I have found some fool who still thinks Iraq was a good idea. Probably one of the last 5 in this country. Knowing what we know, how many Americans would vote to do Iraq over again? Just a few no name radio hosts and some Washington pundits.

Iraq was a tragic waste for so many reasons that are now historically clear. What's the point in even debating it?
