Take A Social Issues Break In 2012?

Tuesday, March 22, 2011

Mitch Daniels is asking the question should conservative take a break from the social issues debate for the upcoming 2012 election and just focus on the economy. And while I can see where he is coming from, that is a dangerous statement to make. Put another way, he is asking us to stop asking the questions that are key to our character and morals of a country - regardless of the side - in order to make sure we can make and have money. I think that is the dangerous and alluring statement the Bible refers to when it says money is the root of all evil.
