Who Exactly Are We Defending In Libya?

The fact that all along AlQuada has been fighting against these tyrannical regimes that we have supported should tell us that our narrative about Al Quada is false.The aims of AlQuada were in fact legitimate.Their anti-Americanism is a result of our support of corrupt tyranical regimes and, as well but not exclusively of our one sided support of Israel.We had no problem with the Saudi's beheading anti -Saudi royal family activists [al Quada] or Egypt's torture of Muslim brotherhood members and so on in Yemen ,Iraq and elsewhere.The problem AlQuada has with America is not that we dare not be Muslims [Islam is over 10000 years old, all of a sudden they couldn't abide America's not being Muslim?] but that we were complicit with the tyranical regimes which oppressed through torture and murder all dissidents as well as by going against the religious sensibilities of the people by allowing bases in their holy land[You have a base, you need a whore house and a bar,etc, all against the indiginous people's culture and religous beliefs.And if the backward penal code there the indigenous people both men and women actually believe in then it is none of our business ].The uprisings now happening on the ground in these Muslim countries expose America's callous ignorence and indifference towards the reality of the people there .[Hence AlQuada's legitimate claim that we are anti-Muslim -their religion being their primary identity]. It is this deliberate indifference to the plight and sensibilities of the people under these tyranical regimes that led AlQuada to lash out at America.That we were taken by surprise by all these recent uprisings only confirms our indifference towards the human rights abuses committed in the interests of dictators and America. When the people there fight back towards Americans who invaded them or toward Israel for oppressing them and confiscating more or their land -by whatever means they can [give them 21st century weapons and they'll fight the way Americans and Israeli's do] they are labeled terrorists and delegitimized instead of acknowleging our complicity with terrorist dictators and our one-sided and unjust support of Israeli oppression.When it's in our in interest we appeal to our moral sense of outrage against terrorist acts to justify war against Iraq and Afghanistan even as we support other terroristic regimes.Now we are seeing that our narrative about Alquada is irrelevant to the happenings on the ground in the Mid East.And though the media and anti Muslim politicians will never admit it,we can see that it is also false. Quadafffi is anti-AlQuada and so are we. So too is Syria. and Saudi Arabia and elsewhere. The events on the groung on the part of the people there have outstripped the false narrative of that part of the world.We finally have to confront our own lies and complicity with evil.it's because of our lies about both Alquada and the regimes we either supported [Egypt] or overthrew[Iraq] that we find the left and the right all over the map regarding Libya.And the fact that Americans have always held the Saudi Arabian royal family responsible for terrorism yet never sought to over throw them and conveniently ignored the fact that AlQuada was fighting to overthrow them,only showcases how Alquada is right in claiming we are complicit with the oppression of Muslims and that we falsify reality for our interests.But now,for all our arms and media propaganda machine, events are happening independently of us.Our might,our propaganda cannot control the world.
