Prince William Debating A Prenup For Kate

Monday, April 4, 2011

First it was that he wasn't going to wear a wedding ring. Now Prince William is debating asking Kate to sign a prenup. Given the horrendous marriage record within the Royal Family, I am sure most could see the logic behind that. But I say no. Marriage is a covenant, one that is meant to be a lifetime covenant. And when we set ourselves up for failure, we generally fail. And that is exactly what a prenup does.

Gravatar.com It seems to me that a prenup may be justified and even needed if other people depend on your solvency. If you are a business owner a dvorce could destroy your business and put all of your employees in a bad situation. Unfortunately some people don't really know their spouse until things go bad.
