Bush Turns Down Obama's Request to Visit Ground Zero

Wednesday, May 4, 2011

Bush turned down President Obama's request to join him at Ground Zero to mark the death (and victory?) over Osama Bin Laden. But this shouldn't surprise anyone. Bush himself said that once he was out of office, he was going to let someone else be in the klieg lights. Frankly, I think it has been and continues to be on the most classy things about George W. Bush.
