Clues To Osama's Whereabouts Came From Waterboarding

It is being reported that we found Osama in part from intelligence gathered from sources that were waterboarded. This creates an interesting moral dilemma: if something is immoral but saves the lives of thousands, if not millions of people, does it make it moral to do it? I am not convinced.
