Man Sentenced To Jail For Providing Sick With With Pot

A Michigan man was convicted of a felony and sentenced to jail for growing two pot plants in his backyard which provided his sick wife with relief from her pain. Are you kidding me?!? I have stated all along that I don't think pot should be illegal, but this is absurd. Prosecutors are allowed to exercise discretion in which cases they take and which they reject, and this one clearly should have been one they rejected.
