Obama To Give Islam Reconciliation Speech

We have done wrong to the people in islamic countries.History did not start on 9-11.We supported brutal torturing and murdering dictators for our economic[below market oil prices] and political[military bases or cold war support] interests.We have intruded in those countries first with colonial divisions and then by propping up our agents [the brutal dictators who quelched any dissent].Though we can hide behind those agents and claim we did not commit mass murder and torture ourselves[though since our invasions we can't even claim that] we are not innocent.We supported Sadaam Hussein when the world denounced him for gassing the Kurds only to resurrect that indignation when we wished to invade .When your calling card is shock and awe you must realize that the Iraqi witnesses to that event were as innocent as the 9-11 victims of "terrorism".Islamic terrorists have brought us to the knowledge that there are consequences in the real world [our world] for our policies over there.They don't hate us because of our "freedoms" but because we intruded politically, culturally, and brutally in their counties by propping up regimes which did our bidding for our interests and hurt the people there.We want that there should be no consequences in our world to our policies over there and dismissed all consequences of our policies to the people there.Terrorism is a tactic of the weak and our indignation is a result of them upsetting the balance of power by bringing consequences to us for our policies toward them.Osama died believing in his heart of hearts that he did not start this war.We did with our unjust instrusions in his people's lands.God knows everything.may God have mercy on his soul..
