The left wing Atlanta editorial writer, Cynthia Tucker, and the right-skewing Southern Baptist Convention both got it right. The Georgia immigration law has got to go. It is time to treat human beings as what they are: human beings. People who came to this country while we were not enforcing our borders, have settled into our communities, work hard at jobs, and are raising kids deserve to be offered a compassionate, just path to legal residency.

Gravatar.com I didn't realize the Ga. immigration law treated illegal immigrants as "non human". Nice hyperbole. People will never agree to amnesty, path to citizenship, perm. status as long as our Southern border is so poorly enforced. It really is that simple. Secure the Southern border, in real terms, not the sham that past and present administrations tries to sell us and most Americans would be much more agreeable to some sort of reasonable immigration policy. If you (the Feds) leave the border so porous then the next wave of 10 million people will come even faster knowing that there will be a reward for entering the country illegally. Sorry, but much of the Ga. law was correct and thankfully some of it stood judicial activism from Judge Trash (Thrash).

Don't you know that Allen Hunt is just following the play book from Rome - i.e. the Roman Catholic Church. Allen is a stooge for Rome and its social doctrine.
