The Atlanta Public Schools cheating and lying scandal has now become a national story. International, even, since it was the lead on Al-Jazeera last week. WOW! Poor leadership. Bullying and intimidation. Cover-ups. There are appropriate ways to punish those involved, but the real story is who is missing in all the conversations. Children.
