NASCAR Stand-up Comic Prayers

Pastor Joe Nelms led the opening prayer at the NASCAR event last weekend in Nashville. His prayer was unique to say the least, mimicking Ricky Bobby in Talladega Nights. That raises the question of why you pray and to whom you pray. Is prayer for God or to impress people in the stands? As much as I love humor, prayer is prayer and comedy is comedy.
