An embarrassing attempt at a "debt deal." S&P downgrades America's debt rating for the first time in history. 30 special ops forces, including 23 Navy SEALS, tragically die in a chopper crash in Afghanistan. This has not been a fun week to be the President of the USA. The mood in the country feels very much like the late 1970's Jimmy Carter era. President Obama needs to dig deep to find inspirational, positive leadership to rally the fragile psyche of a nation, much like Churchill or Reagan. Frankly, I'm not sure that he has it in him.
