Bill Keller of the New York Times wants presidential candidates asked more questions about their faith. I agree. He thinks he is setting a clever intellectual trap to show just how benighted the Republican candidates are as evangelical Christians and Mormons. Keller is arrogant (after all, he does work for the NYT). However, he does have a point - faith questions can reveal a lot about who a candidate is and how they would lead.
