Sadly, the War on Terror has been worth it

I am headed to NYC this week to celebrate my mom's birthday. I am proud of her. She feels safe and is not worried about going to the city so nice they named it twice. Really, I do not feel any safer than I did on the day after 9/11. There is no stopping a crazy jihadist who is intent on doing harm. Nevertheless, the war on terror has been worth it. And that is sad to say.
