Down with Down's
Sunday, October 30, 2011
I received an interesting email with a photo of a Down's syndrome boy holding a sign (posted on my home page), and then learned about a new blood test soon to be available to women 10 weeks pregnant. The test has a 99+% accuracy rate in predicting Down's syndrome in an unborn child. The test is also likely to be available soon across the country. With 9 out of 10 Down's kids already being aborted, it makes you wonder if Down's kids will soon be made extinct. For most parents I know, a Down's child has been life-changing, and usually in a powerfully good way.
