With an epidemic of crime on the Georgia Tech campus, a number of students are rallying for the freedom to carry concealed weapons on campus. Utah is the only state that allows concealed carry on campuses, but Georgia needs to follow suit. The absence of guns among law-abiding students means that the only guns on campus will be held by criminals. That means students are sitting ducks for thugs who know they will meet no resistance from unarmed victims.
