A middle school in Maine is considering making birth control available to their students. Needless to say, I was a little shocked. Don't get me wrong. I remember a conversation in 8th grade I had with a girl who made it very clear she was having sex. So I know what middle schoolers are doing. But it seemed odd to me that a middle school was considering this. But it got me thinking, would I provide my middle school child with birth control if asked?
