The debate over earth?s origins has been hotly debated ever since Darwin?s theory of evolution was published in 1859. The debate got even more heated with the recent announcement that Harvard intends to launch an ?Origins of Life in the Universe Initiative? which intends to prove that life originated from a series of random, but logical, events. In fact, David R. Liu, a lead researcher on the project, and a professor of chemistry and chemical biology at Harvard, commented that, "My expectation is that we will be able to reduce this to a very simple series of logical events that could have taken place with no divine intervention."
