Webster?s dictionary defines pride as the quality or state of being proud, inordinate self-esteem, and the delight or elation arising from some act, possession, or relationship. From an early age, we are told to be proud and take pride in what we do. If pride is an acceptable feeling in today?s society, why is it one of the seven deadly sins?
