She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named and I are now empty nesters! Little G is headed off to college and we, her daft parents, are left twiddling our thumbs back at home in suburban metro Atlanta. So, what sort of wisdom do ya'll have for my daughter--who, as all eighteen-year old girls are wont to do, claims to know it all already ? This hour is open to young people up to a year removed from college: in ten words or less, what is your advice for a girl leaving home for the first time looking to earn her BA? What will she learn in college that none of her classes hitherto have prepared her to encounter?
