Rick Pitino: Extortion and Abortion

Louisville coach Rick Pitino is, to use one of my favorite sayings, in a little bit of a pickle. Despite being a devout family man in public, a recent tabloid scandal seems to have cast a bad light on his self-proclaimed morals. Moreover, his contract as Louisville's head basketball coach possesses a pretty strict morality clause that threatens termination for certain breaches. We Christians talk one way about affairs and abortions when it's about other people's problems but when it's about our own behavior, well, our standards seem to fold pretty quickly sometimes. How do you view Coach Pitino and do you think he deserves to be fired? What about his professed pro-life views and his recommendation of abortion to a woman extorting him for money? In the big pro-life vs. pro-choice debate, stories like these mark where the rubber hits the road. What would you do if it happened to you?
