We as Americans are facing a serious healthcare challenge; however, at this point we haven't gotten too far away from the usual partisan bickering and name-calling. Tonight I want to talk about our healthcare dilemma from a faith angle of moral right and wrong and not one of just political Left and Right. Let's skip the grandstanding and showboating that our elected officials have chosen to affect heretofore and, instead, talk about this as real people facing a real challenge to our collective future as a nation. Our solution must respect the dignity of all by offering access to everyone (but not necessarily equal coverage) and, at the same time, cannot remove personal responsibility from the equation. We've got to do something, so let's have a constructive town hall meeting to discuss what we need to do as a country to fix this problem in a morally just manner.
