Ted Kennedy died this past week. And amidst all his service to the country - most of which was endlessly praised - there was one looming disgrace that he never came to terms with. Chappaquiddick. The fact that Kennedy let a woman die, didn't go to the police, and still, after 40 years, never admitted guilt or apologized is just too much for me.
