My Values Cost Me $3,000

My youngest daughter got a check in the mail this past week for $3,000 and change from her university. At first we thought this was great. But then we realized it was from the Hope Scholarship - given by the state of Georgia taken from lottery money - and we're torn. We had decided before we weren't comfortable taking the money, but then when it was given to us anyway, and it sat in our hand, it was a bit of a tougher decision.
