Don't Ask Don't Tell & Recession Blessing

Monday, October 12, 2009

Two topics. First, this past weekend Barack Obama promised to end the military policy of Don't Ask, Don't Tell. But is this policy good for the military? Frankly, I don't think it is really for me (or most of us) to say. The military is not an equal opportunity employer. Let's have a policy that the commanders of the military feel best equip the military to do what it is tasked to do: protect us from our enemies. Then, I am going to discuss how the recession can actually be a blessing for many.
