Houston's Gay Mayor

Houston became the largest city ever to elect a gay mayor. But of course, there were some sending out mailers protesting the fact that a gay mayor can't possibly be a mayor of a town. Give me a break. I may not condone the homosexual lifestyle, but someone being gay wouldn't keep me from voting for them if they were the best candidate.
