In light of Michele Kwan's decision to pull out of the Olympics this past week, many are asking the question why was she on the team in the first place. Simple: she was self-centered. She wanted one last opportunity to achieve her life long dream. But her decision should cause us all to reflect on our own self-centeredness, and how that is at the root of all that is wrong with our lives.
